I know I know everyone is probably sick of these emails. But I just wanna know if I should even consider the reg codes arriving during the weekend. I'm looking forward to running a TW server again. Been years. Just wondering if JP sends them out on the weekend or does he take the weekend off?

If so, have a good weekend JP, I look forward to the codes! [:P]

To answer your question. JP sends out the registration codes as soon as he receives confirmation of the order.

But... You knew there would be a but, didn't you. There are times when JP has to leave town for his work. And as such registration codes are delayed. But, he always get's them to the Sysop.

Now, as to when he is out of town. Or when he is going to get back into town. AFAIK Gypsy is the only person that happens to know that information. And that information is not given to any one else.

There have been times, when people did not get their registration codes for two weeks. And there are times when people do not get them for a couple of days. And yet, others have received them in a matter of hours. Despite the fact that all of them. (Those that took longer than a couple of hours that is.) Have slandered JP here in the forums. They have always received their codes.

Best advice I can give. Just be patient. No matter how long it takes. JP always, and I mean ALWAYS, sends the registration codes.

And if you have not received your codes in about 3-4 days. Send an email to JP, politely telling him that you have placed a order. And the pertanent information about that order. And just wait. He will get back to you, as soon as he receives that email.

Also check and make sure your email doesnt filter your codes as spam. this has happenened in the past. Also JP is a one man operation so some times delays happen, but wabbit covered the situation pretty well.
Good luck in your TWGS.

if you have paid, sent him a personal email, and paypal or whatever has went through, you will get your codes as soon as he can get them to you. i promise :) heh
(99% of times its the email filter causing it to be called junk mail)
(i use hotmail, but i had sent him an email before, so it knew he wasnt junk mail.)

I know I'll get them I believe it. I just wanted to know if he didn't do it on the weekends, if he didn't I wasn't even going to hope and check for them. I'm just anxious to get them. I read all the other emails about it taking some time and that's cool. I'm also checking my junk mail area as well for them so I shouldn't delete them unless he marks the email "Enlarge your Unit aka tradewars codes". I'm just an impatient american. Immediate gratification Darn it! [:D]

lol

When I got my codes 4 years ago. I didn't order online, as I had not CC. So I did the s-mail payment to him.

It took me 4 weeks to get it. The reason for that length of time. In part it was because he was out of town for a couple of days. The rest of the time, was because the address was an old address. But, it was still a valid address. It just was one that he very, very seldom checked. And that accounts for the first 3 weeks. The last week was because it took him that amount of time. To get the time, and go check that address. But once he did, I had my codes with in a couple of hours.

After that, he updated the address for the s-mail payments. That way he would get them quicker.

Like I stated, unless he is out of town. He sends out the codes as soon as he receives confirmation of the order. That can take minutes, or hours. Or it can be the very next day. It all depends on when the confirmation was received, and when he checks his email.

Honestly, the first thing I do every day I set down at the computer is process registrations. There are quite a few cases where people receive their codes within 10 minutes of posting an order. In cases that take longer, I'm either out of town (and I'm in the process of moving right now, and out of town quite a bit looking for a new house) or there's a problem with the order. It's so frustrating when someone places an order and I send back the codes in 10 minutes and it bounces. Then I get complaints and I'm unable to actually contact that person to get the code to them. It happens. In other cases, someone sends the order but no order form, so I wait a few days for them to send it. Of course, orders sent to the box are a different story. I don't even check the box until I receive an email from someone telling me they sent an order. I get about 2 orders per year by way of the box.

If anyone is offering anyone advice about this, the most important thing to tell someone is DON'T be shy about emailing me. If I haven't sent the code, it's probably because I haven't become aware that you're waiting. And I don't look on this forum very often, so posted complaints here seldom reach my eyes.
