I have several new Class 8 Ports under construction in a game, that suddenly stopped advancing about 2 weeks ago, with 1 or 2 days left to completion. I have checked to make sure that there is at least 1 planet in each sector to supply the minimum 10 holds per day of product for construction. Is there something else going on that could stop construction that I am unaware of? This game is V3.09 Gold(Door, not TWGS). I have also checked to make sure that the maximum number of ports allowed has not been exceeded. |

You said each sector with new port has a planet , I hope you have also checked to see that supplies are on those planets. If that has been confurmed , then the only other thing needed is Extern must run each day to advance each ports upgrade. I hope this helps ... |

Since it's Door and not TWGS then I would guess that External Maintenace hasnt been ran (not a good thing) |

After a few days of no construction advance, the Ports started advancing again. What kind of problem could cause the game program itself to be running, but prevent EXTERN? On the old DOOR system, is EXTERN run from an external batch script? If so, maybe the batch script wasn't running properly for a few days until the sysop caught on and fixed it. |

Your right , in 3.09 Extern is an external program run under a batch file. And your system operater caught it and corrected it. |
