I have to ask, how is one supposed to help further the technological advances (fix bugs?) when the game is not open source? All we can do is either report bugs or help with testing. People are actively doing both, but nothing has changed in quite some time. I don't think it's fair to bag on someone for voicing their concerns, poorly worded or otherwise, given the present context.

And besides that, most everyone here is a paying customer, and pays handily for what is essentially a text based game server. I think that gives people at least some minimal right to voice their opinions about the advancement or lack thereof.

TWGS is not freeware, and we're not simply users. We are paying customers of a software product which is sold, to this very day, as being "actively supported." It's unfortunate that nobody sees it that way anymore.
