Actually it is probably in the right place cause it is dealing with sysop issues and setting up the network for the twgs to work, may need to be in another forum, but think is in the right place for the moment, cause he is asking for help on setting up his setup to work the twgs, not help on rebanging games.

For whatever reason this was crossposted in game rebangs. It shows as "moved" in the game rebang area as well as this area.

The only way to advance the Citadels other then changing
your system date, would be to manually go through the planet editor and upgrade
them way. I don’t think aging the game touches the status of planets and other
Extern related tasks, I think that is mainly for unexplored ports, sectors,
alien production/ship access, etc.
here is a neat trick to find your address for your gateway/router:

Within Windows Start Menu, Run: CMD
Now within DOS: IPCONFIG

Default Gateway is for your gateway/router to connect to your ISP.
IP Address is for uses to connect to your computer.
Subnet Mask: I have no idea.

Weird, will have to look at the code, and see why it shows that in both.

Exactly. On mine for example, our TWGS runs on port 2002. In my router I add a service, call it TWGS#1, and the port is 2002. Then I go to Ports, specify TWGS#1, point to the INTERNAL IP that runs my TWGS and I'm all set.

So in a nutshell forward the port from router to the machine running TWGS.
