In order to use some of the .TWA files out there, do you have to have the gold version? I've tried installing some of them per the directions from some of the posts here but they do not seem to work.
I don't want to pay the money for the Gold version because there are only 3 people playing: myself, my dad, and a friend, and that's all I want. We all used to play when the BBS's were popular many many many years ago. Well, enough rambling...

I am going to assume if the TWA's were made and have any Gold features in them, then you will need the Gold to import.

I'd recommend buying the package anyway.
That way if you decide later to open a server, you can do that.
It's worth the cash.

I agree with Oso. With the edits out there, it is a better package. You can import with no issues, or even create your own tailored game edits. It is worth it in the long run.

Nearly any .twa out there will contain gold edits, that's the main reason people export .twa's. Without having purchased the gold package, you won't be able to use them properly.
