 Shield and Fighter Costs

What are the normal prices for each, and how do you adjust them? One of my games has prices that seem odd. Any thoughts?

If your refering to twgs current version
(old dos versions same but on a slight differant schedual)
About every 28 days fig price goes from highist
to lowist.
And shield prices go from lowist to highist.
Oposite of each other.

I forget low price .. I think 110 to high of 290
I might need to recheck those , or someone can test this
on their server by ajusting the date to get those values.

Dos works the same , but on differant date starts & ends.
This was changed in twgs v3.12.23~25 If memory serves.

I seam to remember this from someplace as the fig and shield price data

Class 0 Ports Highest prices for Fighters = 239 Shields = 189
Lowest prices for Fighters = 160 Shields = 110

But i am getting old so the memory might be off just a bit. : )

Ok Zen that makes sense, it correlates to my findings, thus far. One thing I noticed as I double-checked the outcome was that the Holds would sometimes round up and down by 1 from the previously given figure, also this occurred for both the Fighters and Shields figures as well. So, there is a little bug or some slight randomness to the price routine. Additionally, the combined total of Fighters and Shields seems to always equal: 349.

Answered and showed work .. add that to the glossery [;)]

I had not noted the randon jumps , I thought it was more of a smooth 2-3 days increase and decrease to acure.
But since the work is shown .. thats the proof I need.

Again .. nice job to arive at that answer [:P]

Maybe looking at what you got .. its a 45-46 day cycle
That is why it breaks down to 2 cycles in a 90 day period.
As you have noticed.

Input your values into Excel and graph it and you will see a sine wave I believe. I have never been very good with math of this type, but the data seems to make a nice wave.

I have been tweaking around with this and have noted a few things, which might be useful if anybody has any good ideas or experience working with things like this? I think I am on to something, but am still not really sure? I am thinking maybe several more cycles would be needed to determine a pattern through “extensive” testing. [:P]

*** This leaving 29-total days of 0-2 credit price changes, exactly one month, although the cycles do not correlate along with the months.
**** Working from the top and the bottom meeting in the middle there is almost a perfect pattern; the break is highlighted above in red right in the middle where they meet, following as:
