Hello there,
I'm just wondering, can external gold aliens attack you while you are logged off? I have them constantly building even when players are offline on my server, however, I've never been attacked by an alien or seen one try to take my planet while I have been logged off.
Thanks!

I'll give an example. I log off in a non fedspace sector, a Ferrengi waltzes on in like he owns the place, can he attack me while I'm offline?

If the alien is set to be aggressive and they are set to move 24/7, regardless if players are logged it, then I would say they would, I don't know from experience, although they should act as if the player is online, just following the rules that are implemented for off-line players, i.e. the users Online Auto-Flee or shipboard IG, would not be applicable to the attack. This is not something you really need to worry about though, because you should never leave yourself sitting in open space anyways, either seek protection in FedSpace, Cloak-out, or use the protection of your Planet. I have had aliens attack my Door sectors on many occasions though, but they never survived my planets Q-Cannons.

I'm wondering for the new people who keep asking me, if they get towed out of fedspace into some random sector if a Ferrengi can come in and attack them. It's never happened to me personally either and I was hoping someone had gone through this before, hehe.
