 A plot driven TW2002 game.

A few friends and I are currently testing the idea for a working storyboard using TW2002. We are currently running a 100 sector beta due to the small number of testers. We have found a few problems that will need fixing if we are to incorporate the storyboard correctly.

1. Getting rid of Feds and Fed Space- Jump for joy reds. This is the future and the Feds lost the war. Is there a way to take the Feds out of the game and also take out fed space? This will include taking out the Police Station in the Star port. All ships will be changed so don't worry about a Federal Commission.

2. Goody Gold Aliens- I don't know how to do it. I add the aliens, they turn evil. Is there a way to get a good aligned alien race in the game? I've been trying to change settings but it's not working in my favor yet.

3. Adding in Alien Races- I'm also seeing a problem with aliens setting up shop in the middle of a game. I'd like a few of the races to have their own planets, but the planets aren't coming in with the new races. I can add all the races to the game in the beginning, but I really need flexibility for the storyline. God forbid someone blows up the planet Nari before the Psyon Invasion begins [:)]

A bit about the storyline mode I'm trying to create:

It is very high maintenance to run this idea. My programming skills aren't that great, so all major characters in the the beginning of the story will be ran by the sysop and as the story progresses the players will fill in other roles as they see fit. A player can be involved as they wish to be, on the front line of a major galatic battle or sitting back and watching the game unfold.

No game aspects yet (a.k.a. Ship Types, Sector Size, (Open/Closed Game). If you have any ideas or suggestions I'm open to them. If you are interested in the game then please reply.

I've been planning a game involving a quest type system, but I don't have the coding knowledge or the time to fully plan the idea.
