I have noticed in t-edit some planet and ship flags that are listed as Observer. Can anyone explain to me what these flags do or what they are for. I have not found anything in the docs about this.

I do not know extensively the nature of its purpose, Shorty. lol but I do know that it is merely an ownership title in the game as of revision .55 cause it isn't indestructible and it can still be taken ownership of. Anyone have any other light on this? I haven't tested this flag out under circumstances neither. Due to its lack of documented reference, I'm assuming its something that was made to keep programming flexibility open and so not to in working on the code, put himself in a corner (figure of speech). I could be wrong though. Wouldn't mind knowing the answer.

Its displayed as a flag under the planet option, but I don't think it can be editted for planets. Its used for just players to be set as observers. Otherwise, its just a copy over menu. I might be wrong about this, though. Please correct me if I'm wrong =)
