Has there been any consideration on moving the amount a port will buy or sell past 65000. It just seems that number is a bit low now a days.

I doubt that will happen, in the interest of keeping the game at a point where it doesnt always end it 1-2 weeks. Thats the biggest problem with people that havent played the game enough or know the game enough to create a balanced one. Way too many servers are using way too many edits, they make planets huge and ships huge to match but they dont get the concept of the game needing to run its course at a more natural pace. These huge edits only take a game that would normally run for 3-6 months into a game that runs for 3-6 days. I think increasing port capacity would just add to the mess with all the people out there that dont know what a real game is supposed to run like.

Adam, I have to agree with Shorty.. I also have to admit that I am one of the guys that Shorty is talking about. Now if the sysop want to create a game with Large capacity planets the problem seem to be that you get one good corp and a bunch of mid level or newbies that loose interest in the first couple of days.. If you have several corps and you want the game to end in a couple of days then Maybe the big edits are fine. However, I think that your better players will do well on lessor of edits as well anyway. I have started Backing way down on my planets and such for this problem and have had longer games better players and they stick around more.. There are some that want to walk in and rule in a day, and there are games out there for them. I fined that if the sysop wnats to up ports to half capcity the players will make a considerable amountjust from one port pair trade..To up the ports more woul mean there would be a need to up everything else more too.. Just my thoughts..
