NO PIG should not just arbitrarely use ore from being turned on. The current method of using ore as it has someone trapped is sufficient in my humble opinion.

Ok, I sence the die-down of interrest in this topic so I will just post the results of the poll on my website:
# of votes: 8 (yes, a whopping 8 votes)
YES! DOWN WITH MOTHING!: 50.00% (4 votes)
Yes but use some fuel ore when interdicting: 12.50% (1 vote)
Makes no diference in the game. 0.00% (0 Votes)
No.: 25.00% (2 votes)
No, infact it needs to use MORE fuel ore.: 12.50% (1 vote)
I dont care: 0% (0 votes)
Whats a Planetary Interdictor Generator?: 0% (0 votes)
Whew... man, what an overwhelming response!! [:D] Just kidding. Not that it makes any diference, I doubt there will be any updates to this game ever. Would like to see this kind of option setting in TEDIT or Gold Planet Editor tho. IMHO

I've always wondered that myself [?]
I'll vote no for this.

No.
If possible, perhaps two or three levels of interdiction. That's asking a bit much I'd imagine. Higher levels, fuel used (variable).

What would these highers do that would make them different from the lower levels?

I think that the sysop/gameop should be allowed to flag the planets interdictor up on bang.

This is an interesting topic, though I'm coming in late. But... my experience (as little as it is) is that with a planet interdictor, if a ship is podded, it throws the pod out one sector anyway. How would not using ore cut down on mothing? Sorry for the noob questions, but trying to learn from you Old Farts. [:D]
Thanks,
frank.
