Wandering StarPorts v1.01a (Alpha!) will be available for download sometime tonight as soon as I finish writing up some basic documentation for it.

Wandering StarPorts allows the Sysop of a server to automatically move StarDock, Alpha Centauri and Rylos whenever they schedule the script to run. Each of these three ports can be toggled on or off to allow only one, two or all of them to be moved.

Wandering StarPorts v1.01a (Alpha!) will be available for download sometime tonight as soon as I finish writing up some basic documentation for it.

Some additional information can be found at:

And when the distro package is ready to download, it will be at:

Well, it's going to be another day or two before I actually get the script released. TWX has some issues under NT/NT-based (Win2K) operating systems. Basically, it can't be launched to automatically load a script like it can under Win9x boxes. Which in turn means my original concept for simply loading TWX script sessions through TEDIT won't work on NT-based machines.

So... now I -have- to have a scheduler script written in order for everyone on all Windows machines to run it. And a scheduler script so far is just being a major pain in the butt.

Xide has assured me that these problems won't be in TWX v2, but that's still a couple months away it seems, and I don't want to put these scripts off that long.

I'll keep you all updated.
