Ok, heres the deal..
I'm play a private game over @ ultimatetw.com
Some Ferrengi's warp into a sector with me, and I guess they attack me, but all I see, is "Ferrengi are powering up weapon systems" or something like that. Nothing showed up saying I was actually attack, No, You lost this many shield points or Fighter. but if I check my stats I have lost some. Is this a bug in the latest Version Of TW? or is this a problem the sysop of the server can fix?

is the sysop runnin 3.12 or .55-.61? it makes a difference

[:o)]Ya, I noticed that same problem in a pre-3.12 but post 3.11.55 game Not exactly sure which version it was), but have not been in the same situation since on 3.12 so don't know if it still is a problem. Us enquiring minds want to know what version that was on...

If messages were silenced he wouldn't have seen "Ferrengi are powering up weapon systems"

Ah, you're right. It's the cn6 setting that makes that happen. If it's set to No, you will see powering up, but not damage.
