deleting the twmail.dat file

 I'm getting errors in the twmail, twuser and announce.dat files. I know I can delete the mail but what do I do about the others? And, if I delete the twmail.dat file, it will automatically replace itself?

I know part of your question but not all. You can delete mail files and yes it will be replaced.

delete them if it don't work then you'll have to reinstall and then you will know you can't do it next time
