 reinstalling twgs

if i reinstall twgs over the current one that i have going will it erase the current game files or will they transfer over

just to answer my own question i just found out that yes if you reinstall twgs directly over and old copy of it the game files will be intact just as they were.
Thanks to myslef for the info...lol
