Has anyone heard if TW2002 V3.11.56 is ever going to be released? Is
John still doing any development? V3.11.55 has a serious
bug involving sector fighters being "erased" at EXTERN if an Alien or
Ferrengi ship was attacked in the sector. Our Corp has lost millions
of figs to this bug, and we have been hearing that it is supposed to
be fixed in the next version if it ever gets released. We have been trying to find a way to mitigate this bug for a year or more, but nothing will stop the Ferrengi from entering a sector if they have been set to "full aggressive" mode. This bug makes it almost impossible to protect a sector or bubble from invasion by other players, as it limits you to only 50K fighters, which often disappear completely within another day or two as the Ferrengi keep hitting them. It has been 13 months since the last version release, so we are hoping that 3.11.56 is due out soon.

It's my understanding JP recently started development on the game again. I can't give you any time as to when an update will be released, but only to say you're going to have to keep waiting.
