I answered a similar question not too long ago. [8D]

quote:Start up TWGS and click on "Command Center" in the lower center of the TWGS console. Now at the top left hand corner of the Command Center console window there is the option "Archive", click on this. From there it gives you the option of exporting a game setup or importing a game setup. Your looking at importing the game setup.

After the game setup is imported you can always migrate new games using the existing information found in your library of game setups. This is done in the "Banging" of a game. You are capable of migrating information not only using ALL of the original setup but with the option of choosing individual sections of the setup. Example: maybe you never wanted the planet edits = don't select it.

Hope this explains what you were after - Goodluck! - Let me know if your still in a jam getting this done.

Thank you , that does help , I didnt know how to talk him through it without complicating things.
But now I can add one more thing to make IMPORTING work.
The one thing still need repair on TWGS is importing an edit game where ansi & text files have been created.
You need to go into the TWGS folder and sub folder games , then to the game # you plan to import to. The next step is to open ansi folder up and select all and delete (or make the folder if it doesnt exist .. when makes are first created under configure/Games/new it doesn't make this folder) and edit games will need this folder.
Make sure its there and empty , if your import is sucessful , this folder might have data.

J.P. said he will look into this for next release.

thanks all [:)]
