In every Game I make there are corrupt ports.. Where u dock but the port never shows up.. I have uninstalled and re-installed the game 2 times now to fix this.. it seems to help but after time the game still deteriourates and morte and more ports get corrupted. I have winXP home edition.. 1gig ram.. 120 gig HD and it is an AMD1600 chip.. I never had trouble like this about a month ago just recenlty. Does anyone know why this happens?

Yes, this is a known issue/bug. It has to do with big bang and using the bubble tunnel feature. If you use big bang to create bubbles. And you also set a min. and max. tunnel length. Then you will see these corrupt ports. If you do not set any value for the min. and max. tunnel length. Then you will not see the corrupt ports. JP has already stated that this will be fixed in the next version. As he has already found the cause to this problem in the code. It is just a matter for him to get the time to finish the next version and to release it.

You can create bubbles, just do not set the min. or max. tunnel length for those bubbles.

One thing we noticed on our server is that even though a ship can not port and trade there a planet can negotiate a trade agreement. So we upgraded a few BBB ports we found that were corrupt and used them for planet trading.
