When a new player signs up, it seems to get stuck in a "Do you want to build a Citadel". The only options are yes or no, and each on just recycles. Its an endless loop until they disconnect and sign back on.

I had that problem with some of the players i tried to recruit. it was what they were using to connect to the server with. Some of them were using a Mud client and that was causing all kinds of problems since they send line returns and stuff when you hit enter instead of sending the characters as they are typed.

I am using that SWATH program to connect. I'll have another user try it just using Telnet and see if it does the same thing.

SWATH tries to get game information when you log on. To stop this and get out of the "loop" uncheck the option Helper Active on the file menu.

you can also hit n then q very quickly and this will blast you off the planet.
