I ran across a cloaked player, torped him to uncloak and when he appeared there was also an unmanned ship in the sector that was an exact match of the ship he was in. I tried to attack the player and it basically said that he was no longer in the sector, aborting combat. So then I capped the unamnned ship and the player appeared in the sector in a pod. I then went to attack the pod to finish him off and recieved the same message from before, that the player was no longer in the sector and aborting combat. He did appear with 0 figs and I was able to tow him to a deadend so I know he's still alive. Just can't figure out how he intentianally? or unintentionally ended up like this.

Also he was offline the entire time.

I'll forward this on to JP, but unless it's reproduceable it'll probably end up being one of those uncommon oddities that a cause is never found for.
