Are there pre-made Alien data packs for importing to the Gold Edition?
Just Curious, I've been out of the scene for a long time.
Any Help to links or Official TW2002 Sites with NFO on this topic would be nice. thanks.

You're posting on the only Official TW2002 web site.

Currently Gold Alien AI modules have not been implemented in Trade Wars 2002, so none are available. When the Alien AI system is unlocked in a future version I'm sure there will be plenty of AI modules available for purchase or download from various third parties.

The last BBS Door version is v3.09 and you can get it from the main EIS Online site. The url for the main site is: http://www.eisonline.com/

There are links to the Trade Wars 2002 and Trade Wars 2002 GOLD. Just follow them to get additional information. Also the GOLD Alien AI has not and will never be implemented.

The current product is the TWGS - Trade Wars Game Server. It is basically a 'Stand Alone' Trade Wars 2002 product. It does not need a BBS to run or log onto it. Though if you want you can still run it that way if you want to. Basically it is just a newer version of TW2002, current build 3.11.55, built with it's own front-end the TWGS, current build 1.01.55. The TWGS side of it is all new code made to work with the TW2002 side. The TW2002 side of it is still mostly old TW2002 code, but has been modified/fixed to work with the TWGS side. And to remove as much of the bugs as possible, at the moment. In a future version of TW/TWGS, as Rave has stated, GOLD Alien AI is supposed to be implemented. We were last told it might be implemented some where around version 3.11.57/1.01.57 or 3.11.58/1.01.58, TW2002/TWGS. It was also stated that the final version would be v3.11.60/1.01.60 and that it would be made sometime by the end of the year. That was stated about a month and a half to two months ago. So it really looks like v3.11.60/1.01.60 might not happen until sometime in the first quarter of 2003.

If you are still using the door version. Then you will really like the new versions. They are much better and more stable.

The TWGS (Trade Wars Game Server) can be purchased with a Gold Edition, which adds the ability to make your own aliens and have them present in the game. I have thus far created and used Klingons, Romulans, Gorn, and Tholians in the game, as well as created several mafia-style non-player corporations. You can also create your own planets, ships, etc.

The TWGS Gold Edition includes the ability to create yourself what mods used to do.
