As with my last novice posting, I apologize wholly to anybody that thinks this question is outright stupid. That having been said, my last question about whats been going on has been read by now some 20+ people and nobody answered. I'm not trying to slight any of you for not answering, so don't take it that way. What I'm wondering is, since nobody answered, does that mean TWGS is no longer in developement? Have I missed something major since I was last on this message board?

Again I'm not trying to be rude or spiteful because nobody replied, that is not my intent at all. I'm just saying that since apparently no one can tell me whats going on, it leads me to wonder if something is wrong and if developement has been put on hold or ceased all together.

Anywho, should anyone finally come across some info I'd really appreciate a heads up. Thanks guys.

Well you sound like your asking if the "TWGS" itself is under development... Not the tradewars 2002v3 game itself.. I have not seen any problems related to the TWGS software itself so I can only assume that JP will not be making changes to it unless he see's a problem or wants some new features.. as for the 2002v3 game .. a few updates are released every year .. or when a major bug is found, the version 3 game itself will have new features added to it if I understand correctly .. so jp is just looking to get a version stable enough to leave it so he can begin to work on version 4 if things work out there ..
but in a nutshell the twgs does not need development
the 2002v3 game for the most part does not need development
and both are supported

Trade Wars is still be actively developed and supported. It's been a while since the last revision was released, but the next release is being worked on at the moment and will fix several minor gameplay bugs.

Efforts are being made to get TW v3 into a stable final release so that work can begin on the next version of the game.
