 Not showing all the ports

hello all.
When I set-up a game with more than 9999 ports at the game menu befor going in to game were you hit S for stats. the right number of ports does not show up. ex. a game with 12783 ports will only show 1278 ports. there is no room for 5th digit. this looks bad when running 20,000 sector game, it looks like only 1278 ports :(
so can you tell me how to fix it?
