Single Player Non BBS

 Is there such a thing? What would I need to get to be able to set up a TW game on my computer for a single player, like for a practice game? The ideal setup would be offline and no BBS.

Sure, just get yourself a TWGS/TW2002 registration and set up the server for local only play. Very simple to set up. You can take the TWGS for a test run (no registration required) but it will limit your connections to four minutes. (I think it's four minutes.)
