 upping ports

I have written a script in TWX to up the ports to what ever through the admin. It takes about an Hour and 10 minutes for 16,000 ports. Yes, It is faster to do it that away than the 3 hours that I was doing it before. However, is there away to do it faster?

Would really like to know if so.
